 Da'wah aims to provide guidance to human beings to lead to safety and prosperity in this world and the hereafter. Through da'wah human beings are transformed to be in the Divine mold to ensure such well -being. In carrying out Islamic da'wah, various methods and approaches are used to attract people to Islam and change their behavior towards goodness in line with the teachings of Islam. Counseling one of the approaches that can be used is a relationship helping or helping a person live a better life emotionally than before. In fact, the Prophet SAW while carrying out the spread of da'wah practiced the concept of irsyad which has similarities with the method of counseling implemented in schools, religious departments and community service centers. The application of Islamic dakwah values ​​in the counseling process will combine two disciplines of knowledge and expertise that give birth to the concept of more effective guidance and advisory services.
