Description
Summary:The contributions in this publication describe the methods employed to repair localized damage to large structures to increase the useful life of the structure. The technology and application of sheets (or "wraps") made of fibre-reinforced plastic materials ("composites") are also discussed. Part I discusses the use of these wraps for the repair of various structures, for example concrete and steel. Part II includes discussions on the development and application of techniques for strain measurement and damage monitoring. Part III is concerned with process improvement, including mechanical behaviour simulation, process properties and the effects of manufacturing error
