 Pediatric dentistry is a field in dentistry that focuses on aspects of prevention, care and dental treatment of children from birth to adolescence. People who are mentally retarded, disabled or who suffer from emotional disturbances are often considered to belong to the group of "children" because their thinking or mental level is likened to the same as children. In an effort to create a source of knowledge in this field, this book was produced which I titled "Clinical Aspects of Children's Dentistry. This book can be considered an excellent children's dental textbook in the Malay language. It is hoped that this book will help and serves as a reference material for dental students and practitioners. Experienced dental practitioners may find this book particularly useful in terms of recent developments in pediatric dentistry. Emphasis is given from the clinical aspect, covering all aspects of treatment and treatment selection which are discussed one by one in depth. However, from a theoretical point of view, such as etiology and histopathology, this part is not discussed in depth. The same goes for minor dental surgery. Although prevention has become more important day by day, it is not discussed here because this aspect is widely discussed in dental prevention textbooks available today.
