Smashing Terrorism in the Malayan Emergency: The Vital Contribution of the Police depicts the vivid memories of Malayan Police officers who, as young subalterns, played a major part in defeating the terrorist campaign launched by the Malayan Communist Party (MCP). It is a memorial to the Police of all ranks and many bangsa, who risked' and sometimes gave their lives for freedom. It includes comments on Chin Peng's My Side of History (2003) and the performance of the Malayan Government of those days, quoting extensively from official archives.
