 The title of this book is taken from the name of its writer, namely, Ath-Thahawi. His full name is Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Salamah Al-Azdi Al-Mishri Abu Ja'far Ath-Thahawi Al-Hanafi (239-321 Hijrah). This book is quite old and has been continuously inherited from generation to generation to the present day. This book was initially written by Ibn Abi Al-'Izz Al-Hanafi (731-792), up to our present-day sheikhs. This book is a reference to the discussion of 'aqidah shahihah in all the countries in the Middle East, ususnyanegeri-negeri Islam in general, either in the centres of higher education or in the majlis of science. This book has been sufficiently preached from verbal to verbal, from the words of the wise men of the Aqidah. If it is not exaggerated, we can say that if we want to discuss the 'Aqidah, we should not disregard this At-Tahawiyyah book as our main reference
