The book is divided into sections based on typographic styles: Modular, Line, Graphic, Bitmapped, Dirty, Text, Stencil, and Calligraphic. Brief descriptions of each typeface include information on the inspiration behind the design, along with the name of the designer and a contact address. Accompanying the book is a CD containing eight free fonts (one to represent each section of the book) specially commissioned from selected typeface designers. Contributing typeface designers and foundries include Club21, T26, eboy, Alexander Gelman, [+ism], Tim Fletcher, Swifty, Jeremy Tankard, Alias, The Fonts Bureau, Agfa Monotype, Extra, Thirstype, Beaufonts, Ben Drury, Hideki Inaba, Optimo, Buro Destruct, and Fontshop International.
