Among the elements that are given attention are the processes in publishing, i.e. authorship, editing. design, printing, sales, and marketing. In addition, the history of books as a medium of communication and economic aspects of publishing and legislation are also given attention. Publishing is the oldest mass communication tool and is the basis for the birth of other mass communication mediums. Therefore, understanding it is important enough to be the basis for understanding other mediums. |
