It was published in 1907 by Oxford University Press. This translation mysteriously disappeared from the market. Two copies are known to exist-one in the British Museum and the other in the Library of Congress, Washington. The first edition, published by the Qur`an Council of Pakistan in 1973, was printed by photo-offset process from a micro-film copyof the book kept in the Library of Congress. |
