Description
Summary:Since publication of the successful first edition. Administrative Law in Malaysia and Singapore has grown rapidly mainly through judicial creativity and to a small extent through legislation. The purpose of this book is to explain the principles of Administrative Law as they apply in Malaysia and Singapore. It seeks to bring together court pronouncements on Administrative Law in these two countries and to extract relevant principles from them. References are made to cases from England. India and Australia. Some references are also made to the U.S.A. and New Zealand as well as to the droit administratif in France. The approach adopted in this book is expository, analytical, comparative and, at times, somewhat critical Readers will find a new chapter on Right to Information. Practically every chapter in the first edition has been substantially revised and expanded.
