 Zakat is the third pillar of Islam. In the Qur'an the matter of zakat has been mentioned in 30 places. 27 places from the pronunciation are coupled with the word establish prayer. The companions and the tabi'in have agreed and know that zakat is an obligatory obligation and none of them say that it is not obligatory. The undeniable thing is that the various types of property that flourish in this modern age have increased in number. It is not limited only to livestock, money, business goods and farmland as it was in the Early Islamic Period. In this day and age the goods that can be produced have increased, including tall buildings, sophisticated manufacturing plants and an ever-expanding range of services. The external scale of a project and business is also growing and becoming giant companies and corporations at home and abroad.
