 In general, this book describes the basis and background of a researcher. Here what is meant by research is a systematic and intensive research towards a deeper understanding of something that is studied (using quantitative data and qualitative data). Or in short, this book explains that research is a process from which a science is created, by mobilizing elements of philosophy and empirical research and finally producing a formula that will be used to solve a social problem, such as poverty, unemployment. etc. On the whole, the discussion of the contents of each chapter in this book covers the needs of quantitative research studies. This does not mean that this field is limited to use by students or researchers in economics, management and science, but can also be used by students or researchers in the social sciences and humanities (History, Geography, Anthropology and Sociology), who conduct research or research on a social issue.
