The author has aimed to produce a wide-ranging and comprehensive textbook which can be used in mixed ability situations.;Each chapter covers a different aspect of office procedure and is complemented with a series of assignments and projects divided into three sections - "make a note of it", "key words" and "data response questions".;"Make a note of it" consists of a series of questions. By writing each question followed by the answer the student formulates structured notes on the topic. This section can also be used as the basis of revision study for each unit. The second part identifies a number of key words used in the chapter, for which the student is required to write a sentence to ensure they are understand it in the business sense. The final section consists of exercises to test the student's ability to respond to data related to that topic and these are arranged in order of difficulty.
