 Each unit concludes with a review section that tests the student's ability to solve problems that might typically occur on the job. He or she is asked, for instance, whether certain financial transactions should be credited or debited to different kinds of accounts. In doing such exercises, he or she will also practice both the specialized vocabulary and other new words, as well as the structural patterns that are used with them. A great deal of successful language learning comes from experi- ences in which the learning is largely unconscious. In offering these books, it is hoped that the student's interest in the career information presented will increase his or her ability to communicate more easily in English.
