Each chapter of the book focuses on a different aspect of educational technology, beginning with a discussion of some interpretations of technology in education and educational technology. The following chapters discuss certain teaching/learning system methods that involve a systematic and scientific approach to problem solving. Based on the 'systems approach', several chapters discuss how to establish teaching objectives different techniques needed for group, individual and group learning situations ways to assess student performance and achievement and the criteria used and ways to assess course content and success. The final chapter discusses two aspects of educational technology that have become increasingly important in individual learning situations, the use and management of resource centers and various learning methods when computers can be used to assist learning.
