Don has spent many years field-testing and sharing his goals and strategies with other professionals. Don's ideas and experiences appear in a variety of journals and books including Humanistic Education and Beyond Balls and Bats. He is currently the director of the Governor of Oregon's Physical Education Leadership Training Project for High Risk Youth and is co-ordinator of the Self Defense Studies Concentration at Portland State University,
