On the basis of his extensive clinical experience Dr Zhou has also included therapeutic exercise for recovery from ten common condi tions, including hypertension, gastro-intestinal problems, heart disease, and insomnia. An important aspect of Chinese medicine is the mind-body interaction and therefore many of the exercises combine mental with physical activities.
