 This text covers the seven most commonly used teaching strategies: presentation, discussion, independent study, co-operative learning, discovery learning, direct instruction and individualized instruction. In addition, it provides coverage of such major topics as instructional planning, establishing set, maintaining time-on-task, monitoring, questioning, assuring clarity, providing feedback and reinforcement, classroom management, and assessment.
