 In this book "Gerakan Tajdid Islami", the author describes briefly but thoughtfully about the history of the birth of Mujaddid-Mujaddid along with their recovery efforts (tajdid), characteristics of Mujaddid, sirah and twists and turns of the struggle they have gone through. In the last part the author does not miss to contribute criticism as well as some of his thoughts in relation to the causes of failure in the struggle of some mujaddids of the past. What we all hope is that the weaknesses and shortcomings as brought by every Tajdid Movement in the past will be a lesson and a lesson for the supporters of the Tajdid Movement today. We should look at the failure of the past Tajdid Movement from a positive perspective by considering that the efforts carried out by the movement as 'preliminary forces' or the driving force of the beginning towards the rise of Islam today and further to the victory of Islam in tomorrow.
