Summary: | In a nutshell this book is actually very great because it contains articles written by national education experts. This book is edited and maintained by an academic figure who no longer needs to be introduced, namely Tan Sri Awang Had Salleh. The main question contained in this book is how important education is as an agent of unity. The authors who wrote in this book try to give an initial insight (at that time) on the extent to which the education system practiced in our country is able to provide the best results in the future. There is also an interesting glimpse into the extent to which past education systems successfully influenced the success of existing systems at the time (at the time this book was published). Honestly we can probably find out whether or not the predictions expected by academic experts in this dark green coloring book are true. Something interesting about this book is about a paper written by a lecturer that I admired when I continued my studies at UPSI, namely Professor Emeritus Dato 'Dr Isahak Bin Haron. The title also caught my attention, which is about the development of the Malay language in national secondary schools in 1957 to 1970. |
