The growing importance of computers has been recognized by rewriting totally the chapter on computers in transportation planning, and including detailed analysis of the most commonly used software packages, Micro TRIPS and MINITRAMP. The conclusion has been rewritten and the whole book has been brought up date with the latest developments.
