As people's wants are virtually unlimited, but available resources are in limited supply, so it means that people are forced to economise. They must make the most of what they have and use these scarce resources to the greatest advantage. Economic problems arise as the individual or the community has to make the most efficient use of its limited resources and is confronted with the problem of choice. Economics is accordingly concerned with the arrangements that are made for the use of scarce resources
