 This book contains historical facts and current political situation that displays the history of a Malay state of Patani which was once the focus of the Northern Malays of the Peninsula and is the oldest center of Islamic activities as well as the center of Malay civilization and culture. The geographical position and importance of its port make it an East-West shipping port in the South China Sea. The writing of the history and upheavals of the Muslims of Patani found failure to be recorded based on political reasons and current pressures. Touching on this, Prof. Dr. Awang Suthasasna from Chulalongkorn University stressed that the history of a race has no meaning if the race is willing to change its past with another race or descent. This is a statement that cannot be denied because every nation in this world will remember its past. So are the memories of history and civilization achieved among the Muslims of Patani.
