The first text, Analysis and Synthesis of Sampled-Data Control Systems, was published in 1963 by Prentice-Hall. The second book, Discrete- Data Control Systems was published in 1970 by the same publisher. The book represents a completely new approach from the 1963 edition by concentrating on the state variable approach and modern control theory. The first edition of Digital Control Systems published by Holt, Reinhart and Winston in 1980 was a complete revision of the 1970 text. |
