Description
Summary:The approach in this book aims to explain the basic concepts and aspects of physics in modern terms as far as possible, and then give examples, exercises using mathematical knowledge and its applications in order to achieve a deeper understanding. Certain topics are discussed in more depth than are typically discussed in pre-university textbooks. However, so that this book does not become too thick, some of the common material is discussed only briefly according to its relevance to the current structure of the physics curriculum. This book contains two volumes. Volume One contains the Science of Mechanics and Properties of Matter, Oscillations and Waves, as well as the Science of Geometric Optics, while Volume Two contains Thermal, Electrical and Magnetic Physics as well as Modern Physics. Throughout this textbook, we try to show the relationships between the same concepts from different perspectives. For example, our discussion includes one specific section. on Oscillations and Waves where the discussion touches on the phenomena of oscillations in mechanics, sound, optics and even electromagnetism. The required level of mathematics is the beginning stage of calculus and algebra only.
