Description
Summary:I Like To Say What I Think is a study of the attitudes, beliefs and values of a young generation. It contains the results of a recent survey, in which over 800 young people aged 15 were invited to give their opinions on a variety of topical issues - ranging from sex, religion and politics to reflections on parents, friends, teachers and the police. Based on written statements, uncorrected for spelling and punctuation, it draws out spontaneous, and often controversial, information on what motivates and concerns young people today, presenting their ideals, hopes, dreams and disappointments. There have been many books written about young people, but this is one in which young people 2re give a platform to really 'say what they think' about The issues which most closely interest and affect them. The authors devote the bulk of this book to the presentation of those views, and the remainder to a thought-ovoking interpretation of the results.
