Description
Summary:The approach of the education system is secular as the basic assumption behind nature. Applied Science and Social Science are not taken from religious sources, but instead are isolated or separated from them. The system fosters a modern way of life in the Muslim community that is supported by the general media, but is contrary to the principles of Sharia. Thus a cultural dichotomy has arisen throughout the Islamic world: traditional Islamic education on the one hand, creating secular members who ignore either traditional values or religious values. Some Islamic thinkers fear that the characteristics of Islam are gradually being eroded and will experience the destruction and moral decline experienced by Westerners. To prevent this from happening and to preserve Islamic identity, experts agree that all Muslims must receive an education that is firmly based on Islamic teachings and influences all branches of science, book production and teacher training programs.
