Its primary purpose is to provide a useful and interesting companion to the recommended textbooks for students preparing for law papers in "A" Level, BEC and the various professional examinations. It is hoped that it will also be a pocket-size aide-memoire for first-year law students, who will know that there is no real substitute for reading the reports. The compiler continues to be grateful to the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for England and Wales and to Butterworths who kindly gave permission to include extracts from the Law Reports and the All England Reports respec- tively. |
