 Any attempts to provide a wide range of information about political parties in Britain faces a great many obstacles, and inevitably accrues a great many debts. On the latter score we are especially thankful for the co-operation of a range of party officials who gave us information on party activities and permission to reprint officials party material without which this guide would have been of limited utility.
