 This is the third edition of a popular and well-established general introduction to law in England and Wales. Its lucid and readable approach has made it an attractive choice for all levels of law students and indeed anyone interested in the law. The text has been fully updated to incorporate the considerable body of new statute and case law that has appeared since the last edition in 1977. The important legislative changes made by the Administration of Justice Acts 1977 and 1982, Supreme Court Act 1981, Employment Acts 1980 and 1982, British Nationality Act 1981, Criminal Justice Act 1982, Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 and Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 are but a few of those discussed.
