. He currently serves as Professor of Architecture in the
Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation

Columbia University
, where he directed the Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture. He is also a member of the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society and the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia. Until 2008, Martin was a partner in the
