Jalal Alamgir Jalal Alamgir (17 January 1971 – 3 December 2011) was a Bangladeshi-American academic and an associate professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts-Boston and the son of Awami League Member of Parliament Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir. He specialised in the inter-relationships between globalisation and representational politics. He died in a drowning accident in Thailand on 3 December 2011. Provided by Wikipedia
